The goal in every case is to engage the client in a proven design process that combines thoughtful creativity and elegance with form and function. Experience corroborates the fact that solutions deemed most successful in terms of ideas conveyed, feelings expressed and connections made, are those which go through calculated, intelligent and systematic journeys of strategic research, creation, trial and assessment. This process, coupled with creative sensitivity and proper training and experience, ultimately leads to successful communication between the message and the intended audience.
Much like the art and science of fingerprint identification in Forensic Science, ACE-D Creative follows a similar approach and calculated thought process regarding the analysis, comparison and evaluation of a client's current brand and their position within the market. This results in superlative communication design that is individualistic and proven to adeptly communicate.
Analogous to the snowflake and fingerprint paradigm, ACE-D Creative believes the projection of brand and identity is unique from client to client, market to market and business to business, and therefore requires a consistently unique expression of image, message and voice. This foundation for individualization is the prevalent belief and cornerstone of the ACE-D Creative method of operation.
The Analysis Phase is applied with the objective of reducing the client case, as well as the competition, down to a categorical set of message driving components. This phase involves a thorough assessment of the properties and attributes of these components. In addition, ACE-D Creative will perform qualitative and quantitative assessments on the messages being conveyed to the intended audience.
A "back and forth" examination, the Comparison Phase is a line-by-line comparison targeting every driving component of the competition and client case. ACE-D Creative observes the properties and characteristics of the components, searching for consistencies between the subjects and determining the level of agreement between the subject components. Assessments and recommendations are then made regarding the degree of clarity, distortion, etc, in the communication of the intended messages. All parties should be in general agreement upon completion of the Comparison Phase.
The Evaluation Phase will establish a tentative conclusion. An evaluation is made as to the significance of the agreement or disagreement of the components, considering all the similarities, variations and differences between the competition and the client case. Judgements are placed upon the observed components in terms of their depicted image and message clarity. This tentative conclusion will determine the resulting application and visual representation of these judgements, assessments and acceptable tolerance levels, which will then be created and presented for approval.
The ACE-D Methodology comes to fruition with the conclusion of the Design Phase. While inherent throughout, the creative process is fully deployed, assembling the approved visual representations, while appropriately conveying the intended messages. This is accomplished through visual and interactive interpretations involving the relationships of scale, color, texture, space, clarity and other means. As in all previous phases, ACE-D Creative will then present these results for approval. If needed, further assessments will then be made. When deemed appropriate, a second, independently-conducted examination can be performed from the Analysis Phase through the Design Phase in order to reaffirm or disprove the reliability of the conclusion.
Error elimination and confidence-building measures are inherent to the ACE-D Methodology. A client case which is proven in cyclical phase testing is rendered even more scientific by its objective, open and explicit nature, and therefore constitutes a confirmation of the outcome as valid and tested. This is integral to the design process, as it serves to prove the individual creative outcome from a scientific and logical perspective.
