Focusing on the notion that home equity loans are catalysts for improving and remembering life, a promotional campaign for DuPage Credit Union highlighted a special limited time rate offer, while the creative linked the decorative display of memories with several valid uses for home equity loans.

In celebration of DuPage Credit Union's 50th Anniversary, the promotion "50 Days, 50 Winners" was created to encourage an increase in signature-based Visa Check and Credit Card transactions, while rewarding one member per day, for 50 days, ending December 30th.

"Open a Future Generation Account and help a child's savings grow faster than they do." Based on the idea that it's never too late or too early to teach a child about the importance of saving money, a rather tongue-in-cheek promotional campaign was conceived for DuPage Credit Union, emphasizing how quickly children can become adults. To further encourage the child to save, a free crayon bank was issued with the opening of every new account.

The original goal of this campaign was to advertise a limited time rate offer for the unnamed auto financing program of DuPage Credit Union. While the rate itself was an attractive component of the overall promotion, the challenge was to clearly define the complicated variable rate structure. In associating familiar vehicle terminology with the otherwise challenging variables, the resulting campaign headlines quickly translated into a soft branding of the credit union's entire new and used auto financing program, to be known as High Octane Vehicle Financing, with two headlining packages – Premium and Ultimate.

An analysis of DuPage Credit Union vehicle financing showed below average sales, non-competitive rates and individual rate structures for all new and used cars and trucks, motorcycles, boats, trailers and rv's. A solution was thereby proposed to unite all vehicle types by combining rate structures. Doing so would enable one campaign to include all vehicle types, thus increasing overall exposure through equal advertising dollars. The following rollout campaign would re-brand and advertise the most compelling attribute of the new High Octane Vehicle Financing structure – the Beat the Competitor rate.

In the months leading up to the grand opening of a new DuPage Credit Union branch office in Geneva, IL, the idea of a tree awakening to a new season of growth and life became the most natural metaphor for such a venture. The tree is known as a symbol of prosperity, and the affluent and charitable community of Geneva has had an unmistakable affinity for this symbol. The progression of the related artwork followed nature's cue as the seasons changed from Winter, to Spring and Summer.

The Members Choice Art Exhibit is a revolving local community/branch office based competition that gives DuPage Credit Union and local schools an opportunity to recognize talented high school art students. Business objectives include introducing younger demographics to DuPage Credit Union and the Bank On Your Own Product Suite, as well as increasing brand awareness through the engagement of the community at large.
